The 28^th National Maritime Trial Seminar was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province on 22 October 2020, themed “discussion on current situation and duties of maritime trial under the concept of building a marine community with a shared future” and “amendment of the Special Maritime Procedure Law”. Mr. Luo Dongchuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of Fujian Province, and Mr. Wu Xielin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Fujian Provincial Higher People’s Court, gave remarks at the opening ceremony. Comrades responsible for maritime trial in the Civil Adjudication Tribunal No.4 of the Supreme People’s Court and relevant provincial higher people’s courts, presidents of 10 maritime courts, and paper award winners attended the Seminar.
