Recently, a case heard by the court concerning the recognition of the identity and position of a Singaporean judicial manager was referred to in the article “Cross-Border Insolvency Cooperation Between Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR: The 2021 Arrangement and Its Improvement” published in the Asian Law Review of the University of Pennsylvania, an internationally renowned law journal. This case is a good illustration of the Chinese courts’ approaches to and judgments on maritime cross-border insolvencies.
